NFPA 10 Portable Fire Extinguishers Monthly, annual, six-year internal and hydrostatic intervals — and the travel-distance rules that decide how many units a building needs. NFPA 17A Wet Chemical Extinguishing Systems The six-month inspection cycle for pre-engineered kitchen suppression, including fusible link replacement at every visit. NFPA 96 Commercial Cooking Operations Ventilation and fire protection for commercial kitchens — hood, plenum and duct coverage. UL 300 Kitchen Suppression Standard Wet chemical agent, required since modern vegetable cooking oils made dry chemical systems unreliable against reignition. NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm & Signaling Code Annual functional testing device by device, with written records retained for inspection. NFPA 101 Life Safety Code The 30-second monthly and full 90-minute annual discharge test on exit signs and emergency lighting.
